Go To Hell, Do Not Pass "GO",
Do NOT Collect $200!A long time minister in Worldwide Church of God died suddenly and went to heaven. There he met St. Peter and Gabriel at the Pearly Gates.
"Oh, it's so wonderful to be here!" the minister exclaimed excitedly.
"We're glad to have you," St. Peter said, "but first, your credentials."
The minister was puzzled. "Like what?" he asked.
"Like tell us why you think you deserve to enter heaven, what good things did you do?"
The minister thought for a moment. "I kept all the holy days."
"And?" St. Peter asked.
"I attended all the ministerial conferences."
"And?"
"My congregation held numerous garage and fruit sales to further the work."
"Did you ever give any of the money to needy brethren in your local church?" St. Peter asked
"No, it all went to headquarters to help spread the gospel."
"What else did you do?" St. Peter asked.
"Well--I directed all the youth programs and umpired all the games. Went on field trips--"
St. Peter interrupted him. "Did you ever visit the sick and the elderly?"
The minister hesitated. "My time was so pressing in furthering the work of God----but I did hold graveside services for Mr, Smith when he died."
"Did you ever visit the lonely widows"
"That I did! that I did!" the minister answered confidently. "On my way to a ministerial conference in Chicago, I stopped for a short visitation with Mrs. Smith and gave her two dollars before I left!"
St. Peter turned to Gabriel. "What do you say?"
Gabriel glared at the minister.
"I say give him back his two bucks and tell him to go hell."
