Worldwide Church of God: Worldwide Church of God is Indicted

Most of the entirety of the past membership in the organization (commonly called a "cult") known as the Worldwide Church of God. Also, most of the past membership of the Worldwide Church of God's offspring of similar "cult" organizations - a series of cults that are now frantically and ruthlessly thrashing about for their survival, both in the USA and abroad.

These plaintiffs include all men, women, and children whose lives have been changed for the worse as a result of being aligned with these cult corporations. This includes all the families, relatives and friends of those who have died as a result of Worldwide Church of God teaching, those who have committed suicide while in the fellowship of the Worldwide Church of God, and those who have lost their careers and investments due to Worldwide Church of God's misrepresentation of the "church's" needed finances and the wanton extravagant spending and waste of money by the Worldwide Church of God cult leadership. This also includes all the children whose lives would have normally been enriched if they had a regular life outside the obscene tentacles of the Worldwide Church of God. This also includes all folks who have suffered mental problems, depression, alcoholism, or have had to resort to psychiatric care as a result of the multiple personal burdens and guilt complexes brought about by the Worldwide Church of God. This also includes all those people that are now living in virtual poverty for their retirement when their money could have been kept aside for the "golden years," but instead was virtually extorted from them by the Worldwide Church of God under false pretenses.

All current leadership and wives of the Worldwide Church of God cult and it's offspring who have knowledge of their organization's cultic activities, and who chose to play prostitute for their paycheck rather than have the courage to be honest, stand up, and be counted. This includes - by extension - many of the lower "ranking" hirelings and their wives in those organizations. This includes all business people who knew or know of the chicanery of the Worldwide Church of God+ organizations. This includes all responsible hirelings who take a salary for supposed "ministering." This also includes all past leadership and hirelings, (knowledgeable in the Worldwide Church of God politics and expense distributions) who have left the cults, and are now in hiding, and have made no move whatsoever to APOLOGIZE or compensate for the innumerable membership harm or to be accountable to these victims for their personal (hireling) part in these criminal activities and individual damages done to those peoples' lives. Details will be explained later in the section: "CHARGES."

As was brought out in the Nuremberg trial - if Hitler must bear the burden of Nazi guilt, then so must his lieutenants. Hitler, it was stated, could have done nothing without the support of those around him. And so, the blame of guilt must also be placed squarely on the shoulders of the Nazi leadership with which Hitler surrounded himself.

In the same manner, since Herbert Armstrong must bear the burden of guilt for the activities of the Worldwide Church of God, then so must his lieutenants. Armstrong could have done nothing without the support of those around him. Therefore, now the blame of alleged guilt must also be placed squarely on the shoulders of the Worldwide Church of God leadership with which HWA surrounded himself.

Some of these cultmasters and hirelings are now controlling (or are in top positions of) extension cults of their own. Many hirelings (who know better) have joined them, having exited the main Worldwide Church of God body and chased their paychecks and promised retirements from their new financial source.

It is these businessmen, career cultmasters and hirelings with their lackeys that stand accused of the following charges.

CHARGE ONE: VIOLATION OF THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

The First Amendment guarantees that all people have the right to speak freely, think freely, and worship freely. Cults seek to suppress this right by intimidation and threats.

Within a cult - as in the case of the Worldwide Church of God+ order - freedom of thinking and speaking is controlled. If anyone speaks, or acts contrary to cult doctrine, then "snitching" is encouraged. The cultmasters move in on the individual who has "transgressed," and disciplinary action is enacted. The individual is not allowed to think or voice his own opinion if those ideas are outside cult thinking. Since there is a mountain of correspondence attesting to these same bullying tactics in most or all of the Worldwide Church of God offspring, the individual is therefore denied the right of free speech, and therefore these Worldwide Church of God+ cults are in violation of the First Amendment.

We all have the freedom to worship, study, and follow whichever religion (or none) as we choose. Worldwide Church of God+ cult thinking would also suppress this right. Like the Nazi party and the Communists, cults want to control a person's thinking and thus his religious persuasion. If his spiritual direction is different to the cult's, then action is taken against him.

The often used disfellowship quote of Romans 16:17 has often been quoted from pulpits by Worldwide Church of God+ hirelings, but is basically misunderstood by members because they haven't properly checked the lies of the hireling in the pulpit. Essentially, it is a suggestion only to all moral people to take personal note only of anyone who would walk a contrary path, and avoid them. That's all. There's nothing about public humiliation for any person. There's nothing about a public announcement regarding any person. There's nothing to say that some hireling has any "authority" to cut a person from any congregation, or that he can relegate that person to the devil - or whatever. It is advice given as a personal observation matter for each individual. It is NOT a command, and the suggestion is one given to encourage people to stay on the right path with the right companions. That's all.

Since the hirelings of the Worldwide Church of God+ cults have fought against the personal rights and beliefs of individuals, and have done it with threats and disfellowshipping from the pulpit, then they are attempting to suppress that person's right to worship or think and speak as they please. As such, this too is a violation of a person's civil rights.

Since these cults seek to control the lives of members in their thinking, belief system, speaking, and worship approach, and do this with threats or the punishment of disfellowshipment, this then is a clear violation of a person's First Amendment rights.

CHARGE TWO: VIOLATION OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE TAX CODE, SECTION 501, PARAGRAPH "D."

Each year, any tax exempt corporation must fill out their respective form that shows the corporation has zero balance, and the money earned has either been used for tax exempt purposes or is being held in trust for some altruistic cause. Religions fall into this category (paragraph "d") above, and each year the Worldwide Church of God organization submitted the appropriate form to show it was compliant with the tax exempt code.

But the tax code is specific. Organizations can have this (quoting here from the code itself) tax exempt status: " . . . if such associations or corporations have a common treasury, even if such associations or corporations engage in business for the common benefit of the members . . . "

First, there was no common treasury. The money was held by the central office. While this was acceptable to most members, any business Worldwide Church of God conducted was (as quoted above) supposed to be for the common benefit of the members. Please check the gross tax violations on the two sites: Worldwide Church of God REAL ESTATE and WORLDWIDE CHURCH OF GOD'S EXTRAVAGANT WASTE OF MONEY. Also AMBASSADOR REPORTS has many similar violations.

It would be truly enlightening if someone could explain any possible adherence to the IRS code, Sect 501, para (d), in the light of reading these above named articles.

Apart from the list given in YOU MIGHT HAVE GROWN UP IN THE Worldwide Church of God IF . . . and the rash of HORROR STORIES, and the whole INDEX at the beginning of the PT Site, we'd like to delineate some other factors, that may have been alluded to before, but now, some may need to be itemized below as a reminder to us all. There are many, many more, but if we listed all of the Worldwide Church of God+ transgressions we'd need more hard disk drive space that the whole Internet could ever provide. So for the sake of not overloading the web, we've limited the named abuses to just a few.

The cover up of the opulent lifestyles of the "Rich and Worldwide Church of God Famous."

The cover ups that would have disqualified most in the upper echelon of cultmasters from ever being "ministers" in any Biblical sense.

Etc., etc., etc. And the list continues, but it's so long, it would take any court of law forever to examine. These are just some of the charges that could be brought about one of the most vile, corrupt, despicable cults that has ever worn sheep's clothing.

Guilty as charged on all counts, due to the testimony and evidence presented by thousands of witnesses.

In a civil court of law, and in some other countries, the guilty parties would be either hanged or shot for the disgraceful example of degraded human beings that they've epitomized here. They and their conduct are a disgrace to humanity. They'd also probably receive the death penalty in some countries for their wanton disregard for the sanctity of human life, and the contempt shown to members' personal dignity and reputations. Their callus, bitter, angry and hate-filled attitudes align them with a dead HWA, who in turn, aligned his thinking and spirit with those of Hitler and Mao. However, since these hirelings can hide behind the legality shield of "Church," they can avoid all prosecution due to the separation of church and state.

But, in this particular instance, the ultimate penalties are something that the Laws of the Universe will have to decide. There is no escaping that what has been done to the tens of thousands of damaged souls will eventually be met and dished out back to the responsible parties with an equal, karmic force that will come directly from that universal power for retribution - plus interest.

But, any and all those penalties can be avoided if those responsible Worldwide Church of God+ cult parties - namely the guilty cultmasters and hirelings and wives - will have the courage to do the following: (1) APOLOGIZE and (2) Try and do their best to make amends.
